Lou works from a 300 year old Quaker meeting house in Cambridgeshire, which is believed to be haunted by a few. Lou has yet to witness any of her crockery moving unaided!
The studio overlooks a garden of chickens and several have appeared in her designs, much to their delight!
From a background of textiles, specialising in knitwear design and then onto a career in the media working as a Photo Editor an opportunity then arose for Lou to go back to her roots of designing and thus Lou Mills cards was begun.
Colour, strong design, quirkiness, yet with a sense of sophistication are how Lou’s cards have been described.
Lou is proud that the cards are still made in their entirety in the UK.
